We were employed on this scheme to provide a design for a proposed rooftop addition to an existing Victorian terrace commercial property in central London.

 

The property itself lacked natural light   which suited it's current use, but the client was seeking to invest in a space which offers a flexible events area that could offer a light filled terrace for private events throughout the year. 

 

Our proposal aims to combine the historical aesthetic of the existing building with the industrial, steel framed design approach which is suited to the local vernacular in Shoreditch. 

 

The project is currently at concept stage while the client reviews options and we hope to prepare a planning application shortly.
